And immune also to the culture of branding that replaced rational consideration with emotional sentiment in the mass age.

This may be the broader lesson as the digital generation takes the stage and defines everything about business and politics. A healthy skepticism matched to a strong understanding of facts is a good antidote to the Super Bowl commercial, global cola campaign and greenwashing.
